About CFA Society Poland's ESGthon for Impact Competition

ESGthon for Impact is a pioneering initiative by CFA Society Poland and the WSE Foundation aimed at promoting ESG knowledge and practical skills among students of finance, economics, and other fields. The competition challenges participants to develop strategic and innovative solutions for real-life case studies provided by leading companies. The main goal is to inspire young talents to think about sustainable development and responsible business as an integral part of business strategy.

The Final Event

The competition final, taking place on May 26, 2025, in the prestigious setting of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Listing Room (4 Książęca St., Warsaw), will have the top six teams after a promotion of the semifinal a few weeks ago. The final day will begin with a case study draw, after which teams will have several hours for intensive work to finalize their proposals. Then, starting at 3.00 pm CEST, students will present their solutions to a panel of experienced Jurors – experts in finance, sustainable development, and ESG. Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing for an in-depth assessment of the projects. The day will conclude with announcing the results and the award ceremony.
