Meet our speakers:

Patryk Wasilewski, Group Finance, Investor Relations Officer, UBS
Investor Relations Officer at UBS and CFA charterholder. Financial expert and communication specialist previously responsible for investor relations at a leading Polish IT company and a financial journalist for over 15 years working for a variety of news organizations including Thomson Reuters, Dow Jones, and The Wall Street Journal. 

Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga is the President of CFA Society Poland. Professor of economic sciences, a lecturer at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and universities abroad (including Jiao Tong University in Shanghai). In his scientific and research work he focuses on finance as well as on statistics and econometrics. He heads the Department of Financial Investment and Risk Management and is also the Director of the Institute of Financial Management at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. He is the Chair of the Committee on Statistics and Econometrics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and a member of the praesidium of the Committee on Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In addition, he is a member of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles. He cooperates with numerous financial institutions and companies. He has served as a member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and as a Member of the Advisory Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Klaus Paesler, CFA, Senior Director, Institutional Relations, EMEA, CFA Institute
Based in London, Klaus heads the team managing CFA Institute’s relationships with financial services firms such as asset managers, asset owners, banks and professional services firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Klaus joined the CFA Institute from Millennium Global Group, where most recently he was head of Business Development and Marketing, responsible for leading growth strategies across EMEA, LATAM and North America. Prior to that, he worked at Russell Investments and Mellon Capital Management in both the US and the UK, latterly as Director of Investment Solutions for Northern Europe. He has extensive experience working in portfolio management for equity and derivative strategies, client-facing roles both as a product specialist and in executing business growth strategies and product development covering multiple asset classes. Klaus is a CFA Charterholder and holds a BS degree in Business Management and Finance from Portland State University and an MS in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He has also recently earned the Certificate in ESG Investing.

Head of the Slovak robo-advisor Finax for Poland. Vice President of CFA Society Poland, an association that brings together over 680 individuals with the investment title CFA. Economic commentator, and in the past, among others, editor-in-chief of Bankier.pl and the online edition of "Puls Biznesu". Author of the blog zByka.pl and founder of the portal invESGo.pl, dedicated to good investing, that is, ESG.
