
The last month of this year is ahead, with the Christmas and New Year period fast approaching. On this occasion, on December 20, we invite you to participate in a networking and pre-Christmas meeting, during which we will meet together among financial professionals.

Bartosz Pawlowski, CFA is the Chief Investment Officer of mBank Private Banking where he focuses on asset allocation for both discretionary asset management and investment advisory. Previously he spent almost 10 years in London, initially as the Global Head of Emerging Markets Strategy at BNP Paribas and then as a Portfolio Manager at Finisterre Capital, an EM-oriented macro hedge fund. Bartosz holds M.A. in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and is a CFA Charterholder. He is also Vicepresident of the Board of CFA Society Poland.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (Finance and Banking) and University College Dublin (MEconSci in European Economics and Public Affairs). She spent 2002-2003 in Germany on a Robert Bosch Foundation stipend for young leaders from Central Europe. Holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She has worked in the Polish financial market since 2000, first at the Securities and Exchange Commission (now the KNF) and next at the Ministry of Finance (2003-2007), where she rose to the post of Deputy Director of the Department for Capital Market Development (in charge of the Capital Market Section). She has been with Investors since 2007 since 2009 as Vice President / COO of Investors TFI S.A. Active in the Polish Chamber Asset Managing Companies (IZFiA) – as a Board Member since 2020, and as Deputy Chair of the Board since 2022.
Andrzej Pośniak
Managing Partner, Head of the Tax Practice, Poland and CEE, CMS
Andrzej Pośniak is a lawyer, tax advisor and Managing Partner at CMS Poland. He is also Head of the Tax Practice in the Corporate/M&A Department at CMS, supervises the Tax Practice in CEE, and is a board member of the global CMS Tax Practice Group. He specialises in tax and corporate law, focusing on the tax aspects of JV/ consortium structures, W&I insurance transactions, tax and corporate planning for international transactions, restructuring multinational companies, as well as M&A transactions. He also advises on transfer pricing, value-added tax, as well as corporate income tax matters.
Agnieszka Kulikowska

An executive search consultant and headhunter by profession, she started the global Page Executive firm in Poland in 2014. She has been selecting managerial staff for 15 years: she has helped international and Polish companies recruit more than 150 board members and directors. She supports top leaders in board/leadership positions regionally and globally. She is a board member of the recruitment firm Michael Page and the local government organization Campaign Against Homophobia. She advocates for diversity and inclusivity - in the public and at all career levels. She leads Page Executive's Global Network of DE&I Ambassadors, advising organizations on how to build more diverse boards that achieve even better business results.
Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga

Professor of economic sciences, and lecturer at Wroclaw University of Economics and universities abroad (including Jiao Tong University in Shanghai). In his scientific and research work, he focuses on finance and statistics and econometrics. Head of the Department of Financial Investment and Risk Management, and Director of the Institute of Financial Management at Wroclaw University of Economics. He cooperates with numerous financial institutions and companies. He has served as a Member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and as a Member of the Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Patrycjusz Wyżga
A journalist
Wirtualna Polska oraz Radio 357
A journalist with twenty years of experience. He currently hosts publicist video series at Wirtualna Polska, news broadcasts on WP Television and broadcasts on Radio 357. Previously, he was head of the team of economic journalists at Polish Radio’s Third Program and the main host of the three-hour afternoon slot “Welcome to Trójka.” Previously – for almost 11 years – he worked at TVN. He was a presenter of news broadcasts and an interviewer on TVN24 Business and World and – before that – a reporter for TVN CNBC, preparing materials on economic issues.
Prof. Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, mBank
Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska is a professor in the Department of International Comparative Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. She graduated with a master's degree in Banking and Finance and Management (CEMS major) at the Warsaw School of Economics and Copenhagen Business School. She holds a doctorate in economic sciences. She has participated in numerous Executive Education courses including the IESE/Harvard Business School "Value Creation Through Effective Boards" Program. She completed the MBA program organized by the French Management Institute in Warsaw. In 2000-2002, she worked at the audit firm Arthur Andersen. In 2006, she was entrusted with the role of Director of the Privatization Department at the Industrial Development Agency, where she was responsible for corporate governance until 2009. From 2006 to 2008, she served as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bumar. From 2008 to 2014, she held the mandate of Member of the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee at Bank BPH. In 2018-2019 Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska served as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TransEU. Since 2014, she has been a Member of the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of mBank S.A. Since 2017, she has been a Member of the Audit Committee of the United Nations World Food Program - WFP. Since 2019, she has been a Member of the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of Budimex. She has held numerous academic internships in Cambridge (MIT), Tucson (UoA), Munster, Birmingham (BBS), Berlin (HSoG), Genoa (UoG - Law School), Vienna (WU) and Florence (UniFi), among others. She is a Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley, where she worked with Professor Oliver Williamson - Nobel Laureate in Economics. Since 2005, she has been a Member of the Polish Institute of Directors, a founding member of the expert council of the Supervisory Boards Forum, established in cooperation with PwC and SEG, and cooperates with the Institute of Accounting and Taxation, disseminating the most up-to-date knowledge on the functioning of public company bodies. In 2019, she received the Corporate Governance Personality Award. She is an ambassador of the Bank of America Program and Vital Voices, promoting entrepreneurship among women.
Stacy Ligas, Senior Partner, CEO of KPMG in Poland, Head of Financial Services in Poland and CEE, Member of the Management Board of KPMG CEE
She manages all companies in the KPMG group in Poland since 2019. Her main expertise is in-depth knowledge of the functioning of the financial market in Poland from the business and regulatory side. She specializes in auditing and innovative advisory services for the largest institutions in the financial industry in Poland - banks, insurance companies, leasing and factoring companies or investment companies. Under Stacy's leadership, KPMG in Poland offers a growing range of comprehensive services based on advanced technologies in the fields of audit, tax, business, transactional, technology, accounting and bookkeeping and legal consulting.
