Instructors
Wojciech Łyjak, CFA, FCCA
Owner and Lead Tutor at A4 Training. Wojciech is a graduate of Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics. He also studied finance at the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark. Wojciech is a fellow member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation. Before becoming a finance tutor, Wojciech worked on accounting policy issues at one of Poland’s largest financial institutions. He has experience in banking, financial markets, financial reporting under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), US GAAP as well as management accounting gained both in Poland and abroad. In 2007 Wojciech joined the Ernst & Young Academy of Business first as a finance tutor and subsequently as a manager responsible for the Finance for Non-financial Managers product line as well structuring and delivery of training programmes in financial statements analysis, financial markets, CFA exam preparation as well as accounting, with an emphasis on accounting for financial instruments. As of December 2012, Wojciech operates under the A4 Training brand.
Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga
President of CFA Society Poland, Professor of Economic Sciences at Wroclaw University of Economics (a title given by the President of Poland in 1992), Head of Finance Management Institute. He is a member of scientific and professional organizations: Member of Executive Board of Committee of Statistics and Econometrics of Polish Academy of Sciences, Member of Executive Board of Committee of Financial Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences, Member of Executive Board of Committee of Economic Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences. His research interests are financial markets and instruments, risk management, corporate finance, real estate, insurance and quantitative methods (econometrics, statistics). He was a member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and a member of the Supervisory Board of Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Dmitrij Katkov, CFA
Dmitrij Katkov is a financial analyst, consultant and lecturer with extensive experience in wealth and investment strategy development. He holds lecturing posts at LCC International University, ISM University of Management and Economics and the University of Plymouth. He has taught in 21 countries around the world. His research areas are personal finance, financial strategy and Islamic finance. Currently, Dmitrij Katkov is working on enhancing the quality of the professional development programs offered by the London School of Economics. He has been engaged in consulting projects for the United Nations, HSBC, LVMH. He is an avid reader. In his spare time he enjoys travelling.
