Our Speakers:

Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir is an artist, financier and founder. She is the Founder of PossibleX, platform fusing art, technology and science for positive impact. She is also an Artist in Residence for Faberge and Advisor to CEOs. Roksana has nearly 20 years of professional experience at leading financial institutions. In 2018 she acted as Vice President of the Management Board of Bank Peako S.A. in Poland responsible for Private Banking and International Expansion. In 2019 she served as President of Peako International. Before she worked as Head of the UK Team at Credit Suisse for Ultra High Net-Worth clients. Previously, she worked in managerial positions at Edmond de Rothschild, Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and EBRD in the areas of private banking, corporate finance, and investment banking. She is a Founding Member of the Polish City Club – a non-profit organisation - networking and promoting Poland abroad. Roksana is also the producer of a short film, “Battle for Britain” starring Julian Glover (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Troy) which highlights the role of Polish pilots in the Battle of Britain. She is an Artist In Residence for Faberge. Her media is photography printed on aluminium and studded with ethically-sourced diamonds, sapphires and emeralds. Roksana is fascinated by incorporating science and technology into her artworks. Roksana's art has been exhibited internationally, including the Davos World Economic Forum, and has been auctioned at Sotheby’s and Phillips. She is also creating art pieces in collaboration with late legendary photographer Terry Oneil. She is a CFA Charterholder and holds an Engineering and Masters degree with Honours in Management and Economics from Technical University of Gdansk, Poland, and also completed executive courses at Stanford, Harvard, Oxford and Singularity Universities. She was named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum 2014 and was awarded the prestigious Newsweek Polska Award for her efforts in deepening British-Polish relations. Roksana lives in London with her husband and 2 children.

Julia Susanne Orlich, IMC is Relationship Manager for the EMEA region at CFA Institute, working in the Institutional Relations team. Based in London, Julia manages CFA Institute’s relationships with financial services firms such as asset managers, asset owners, banks and professional services firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, always working in close partnership with local CFA member societies. Julia joined CFA Institute in 2014, shortly after graduating from university, and has held other relationship and client services roles in the organisation before starting her current role in August 2019. Julia holds a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre Dance from the University of the Arts London and is holding the CFA Society UK Investment Management Certificate, the CFA Society UK Certificate in ESG Investing and the CFA Institute Investment Foundations certificate.

Piotr Mazurkiewicz, HRK Partner, Finance Markets Regional Leader IRC Global Executive Search Partners. He has a long experience in finance and human recources/executive search. He worked for Swiss insurance companies in 1998-2004 in the position Regional Director or Training and Development Director. Certified Insights Discovery trainer. He organised many workshops in communication, management and sales-techniques. In 2006 he joing HRK Financial Markets in Poland. Nowadays he is responsible for executive search for sectors: financial markets, SSC i BPO, legal & professional services, finance, HR, FMCG, retail.

Emil Łobodziński, PhD, CFA, Investment Advisor at BM PKO BP A graduate of the University of Economics in Wroclaw in the field of International Relations. He holds the Investment Advisor License No. 247 and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. An expert in the field of financial markets, in particular equity analysis, portfolio management and investment funds. He shares his knowledge by giving lectures at the Wrocław University of Economics and conducting trainings on courses preparing for the exam for investment advisors and for candidates for members of supervisory boards of the Treasury State companies. A permanent commentator on financial market events in the press, radio and television. He gained practical experience in the field of investment funds as well as equity research and portfolio management working for both Investment Funds and Brokerage House. Currently, he is responsible for model portfolio management at BM PKO BP.

Professor Krzysztof Jajuga. President of CFA Society Poland. Professor of Economic Sciences at Wroclaw University of Economics (title given by the President of Poland in 1992), Head of Finance Management Institute. He is member in scientific and professional organizations: Member of Executive Board of Committee of Statistics and Econometrics of Polish Academy of Sciences, Member of Executive Board of Committee of Financial Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences , Member of Executive Board of Committee of Economic Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences. His research interests are: financial markets and instruments, risk management, corporate finance, real estate, insurance and quantitative methods (econometrics, statistics).He was a member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and a member of the Supervisory Board of Warsaw Stock Exchange.
