FOR VOLUNTEERS
FOR VOLUNTEERS
Due to CFA Society Poland’s plans to expand our fields of activity, we are looking for volunteers who can become engaged in our numerous initiatives. Our main focus is providing market-related events, education, statute realisation and building partnership with organisations within our scope of activity.
CFA Society Poland is not only eager to organise promotional events, we also strive to have a fruitful relationship with our members and employers.
There are volunteering opportunities which will help our members shape the investment industry in Poland. Here are a few options.
Employer Outreach
Its goal is to popularise CFA® Program in members’ workplaces. Activities may involve:
- informing colleagues about our upcoming events open to non-members of CFA Society Poland;
- organising meetings with HR or Learning & Development departments in order to inform about CFA Society Poland Employer Recognition Program (find out more about the program here »).
Employer outreach is an important way to increase awareness about CFA® Program, strengthen CFA brand and fulfil additional educational projects directed at youth.
Competitions organised by CFA Society Poland
CFA Society Poland is a local host of initiatives aimed at students, which are a great opportunity for CFA Society Poland members to share their knowledge and work with young talents. Our members may be involved in either CFA Institute Research Challenge or Ethics Challenge in the following ways:
- Mentorship – becoming a mentor to a team of participants and providing guidance throughout the course of the project;
- Grading – marking the reports or presentations as stated in the rules of the competition;
- Judge – showing up at the final to provide live grading of the presentations and becoming part of the jury.
Advocacy
One of the most important areas of CFA Society Poland’s activity represented by the Advocacy Committee, which provides judgment on important legal matters and cooperates with regulators. The committee’s key opinions were issued on PPK (Employee Capital Plans), listed companies’ good practices and corporate governance for capital market participants.
All CFA Society Poland members may become involved with advocacy-related issues.
More information can be found in the Professionalism/Advocacy tab.

Women in Finance
CFA Society Poland supports the idea of diversity in the investment industry. Read more about Women in Investment Management Initiative »
Apart from CFA Institute’s actions, CFA Society Poland has its own portfolio of events and projects related to equality in the workplace. The society has hosted smaller meetings for women to share their experiences, as well as a bigger conference (Women in Finance), which gathered over 200 professionals in 2017. The conference evolved into a series of events called Klub Kobiet Rynku Finansowego (Women’s Financial Club) – a networking platform providing regular meeting opportunities for female investment workers.
