Who we are looking for
State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is the fourth largest asset management firm globally. Global Funds Management is responsible for all treasury, fund administration, and reporting for our registered and unregistered funds globally. This includes valuation, board liaison and reporting, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, expense accruals, service provider oversight, and managing new product launches and life-cycle events. As such we are looking for an AVP to manage a team and provide oversight of regulatory reporting for our European domiciled funds. Candidates must evidence a working knowledge of European regulatory regimes and principles as well as an understanding of European fund structures. Successful candidates will demonstrate a continuous improvement and innovation mindset and be technologically savvy.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
Why this role is important to us
Due to increased European regulatory reporting requirements, a need has arisen for an individual with a strong regulatory reporting background to join the team.
The individual will take the lead in coordinating, completing and filing fund regulatory reports, questionnaires and filings, setting and managing the annual schedule of filings, coordinating key stakeholders and SMEs to input into the regulatory filings as well as collating and reviewing and validating fund data. The individual will be expected to undertake continuous assessment of efficiencies and enhancements of controls supporting the process. The strategic objective of the role is to ensure the funds continue to comply with regulatory filing requirements and deadlines for those filings falling within Global Funds Management’s remit.

What you will be responsible for
As EMEA Regulatory Reporting Manager you will:
- Be responsible for managing, contributing to and/ or coordinating the completion and ultimate filing of fund regular and ad-hoc regulatory reports and questionnaires which include but are not limited to Irish IF Sub Fund Profiles, host regulator report requests, ad-hoc regulatory report requests and thematic review requests, CSSF Self-assessment questionnaires, semi-annual risk reports and other ad-hoc surveys.
- Setting and managing the annual schedule of filings, as well as collating and reviewing fund data.
- Coordinate inputs from key stakeholders to complete the regulatory filing.
- Manage a team
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and best practice standards with regards to existing and new regulatory filings.
- Contribute to enhancement and harmonisation of the global regulatory reporting framework owned by Global Funds Management.
- Ensure timely submissions of all filings.
- Provide support and feed into local Designated Persons and Senior Managers on regulatory reporting matters as necessary.
- Create, maintain, review and update appropriate procedures and policies.
- Ensure timely execution of all BAU processes with a focus on minimising enterprise risk.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- You should have min. 6 years relevant experience in a funds management, regulatory related or compliance role
- Powerpoint, Excel and Word proficient
- Knowledge of European fund regulation (e.g. UCITS V, AIFMD)
