Members of CFA Society Poland have elected a new Board of Directors and an Audit Committee for a joint, three-year term spanning 2026–2029. After 22 years of continuous building and developing the structures of CFA Society Poland, professor Krzysztof Jajuga passes the reins of the association. Following the decision of the general meeting, Bartosz Pawłowski has become the new President of the Board, signaling a new, dynamic chapter in the history of the Polish investment community.
The newly elected Board also includes Przemysław Barankiewicz, Ludmiła Falak-Cyniak, Krzysztof Jajuga, and Beata Sax, who were re-elected for another term. Joining the Board of Directors for the first time are Maciej Kowalczyk and Damian Tracz.
The new Board consists of seven individuals representing complementary experience, competencies, and perspectives. The current term will combine the continuation of existing initiatives with a fresh look at the development of the CFA community in Poland, financial education, market professionalization, and reinforcing ethical standards within the investment industry.
Members of CFA Society Poland have also appointed a new Audit Committee, consisting of Piotr Polanowski, Łukasz Rzeszowski, and Andrzej Sołdek.
The change in the position of President of the Board carries a unique significance for the entire CFA community in Poland. Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga, who served as President of CFA Society Poland since the organization's inception in 2004, remains on the Board as a director.
For over two decades, professor Jajuga has been one of the primary architects of CFA Society Poland's development and the organization's driving spirit. Under his leadership, the association built a powerful standing in the financial community, became a crucial partner for capital market participants, and consistently promoted the highest ethical, educational, and professional standards in the investment industry. The change in the position of president is an example of succession intended to combine an immense legacy with new energy.
– After 22 years of presiding, I have decided to support the association, to which I am also emotionally attached. I will continue to be actively involved, primarily in the field of education and representing the association in the financial market at various academic and professional events – says Professor Krzysztof Jajuga, PhD.
CFA Society Poland has undergone a major evolutionary journey in recent years. Today, the organization boasts over 810 members, while the number of candidates participating in the CFA Program remains steady at around one thousand individuals. The association has become a primary benchmark for finance professionals, capital market institutions, universities, educational partners, and industry organizations.
The new President sets ambitious goals for the association, focusing on reinforcing the role of certified finance experts and adapting to innovative, global trends.
– Assuming the role of president after such an outstanding figure as professor Krzysztof Jajuga is not only an immense honor for me, but above all, a powerful commitment – emphasizes Bartosz Pawłowski, the new President of the Board of CFA Society Poland. – The Professor is a true legend of this association and the entire market; he built strong foundations that we all benefit from and are proud of today. We have an absolutely bright future ahead of us. We want to bring new energy to the organization, strongly focusing on innovation and networking, while drawing from our beautiful history. The fact that the Professor stays with us is fantastic news for the entire community. His wisdom and experience will be an invaluable guide for me personally and for the entire board in the coming years.
