The Management Board of CFA Society Poland would like to sincerely thank Dr. Piotr Sieradzan, CFA, who in October 2025 decided to resign from his position as Vice President of the Management Board and Chairman of the Advocacy Committee (Advocacy Chair).
We wish to emphasize that the role of a board member in local CFA Institute societies, including CFA Society Poland, is performed entirely pro bono. Piotr's long-standing commitment is therefore the best proof of his dedication to the mission of building standards and professionalism in the Polish capital market.
During his term, Piotr was the initiator of many key changes and projects in our professional organization. As Chairman of the Advocacy Committee, he successfully led the work on developing numerous substantive comments and positions of CFA Society Poland on regulations directly impacting the functioning of the capital market.
He was also the driving force behind two strategic projects concerning the phenomenon of "gold-plating" — the first focused on the Polish market, and the second, an expanded version (2.0) for selected European countries. His key successes also include securing the first-ever funding for Poland, awarded from the global CFA Institute funds, which opened new development opportunities for our local community.
Professor Krzysztof Jajuga, President of CFA Society Poland, comments on Piotr's contribution:
"On behalf of the entire board and the CFA Society Poland community, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Piotr for his many years of cooperation. His determination and professionalism, especially in leading advocacy efforts, often set new directions for our organization's development. The initiatives he undertook, including the projects on gold-plating and his successful efforts to secure funds from the CFA Institute, had a real and positive impact not only on our community but also, more broadly, on the capital market. Thanks to Piotr's initiatives, CFA Society Poland frequently made a substantive contribution to understanding the challenges for the capital market, which allowed the organization to speak from a position of expertise in the public sphere."
Thanking Piotr for his years of fruitful cooperation, professionalism, and dedicated time, we wish him much continued success, both professionally and personally.
