The latest, fifth edition of the Women in Finance report, prepared by Antal and CFA Society Poland in cooperation with Bank BPH and IZFA, paints a challenging picture.
This year's study reveals a disturbing trend. Despite growing awareness and diversity initiatives, women in the financial sector feel their real impact on strategic decisions is limited. Only 16% of female respondents felt they had a major influence on the sector's development by holding strategic roles. At the same time, one in five women believes her impact on the sector is small. This is the lowest result since 2019. Why is this happening, even as fewer people point to a clear predominance of men in management (a drop from 52% to 43% in two years)?
Download the full report and find the answers. Inside, you will find (among others):
- Hard data: Why do 82% of men believe wages are equal, while only 34% of women agree?
- Barriers and pressure: What career barriers—from being passed over for promotion to organizational inflexibility—do women point to most often?
- AI and automation: 60% of women see the need to acquire new skills in the face of AI development to remain competitive in the job market.
- New EU regulations: For the first time, the report analyzes the impact of Directive 2022/2381 (transparency in promotions). How prepared are organizations for it, and how low is the level of awareness (over 30% of respondents are unfamiliar with the directive)?
- Work-life balance: Why do 60% of female respondents still find balancing work with household duties one of the biggest challenges?
