Krzysztof Jajuga Honored with Prime Minister's Award

Professor Krzysztof Jajuga, one of Poland's most influential economists from the Wrocław University of Economics and Business, has been named among the laureates of this year's Prime Minister's Awards. He received the prestigious distinction in the key category of "achievements in scientific research," honoring his comprehensive body of work dedicated to advancing statistics, quantitative finance, and risk management.

Professor Jajuga, who heads the Department of Financial Investments and Risk Management at the university, was recognized for his groundbreaking research, his dedication to training future generations of scholars, and for charting new research paths crucial for the modern economy.

A Leader in Data Analysis and Risk Management

Professor Jajuga's scholarly contributions are of fundamental importance to contemporary economics. His specialized work in data analysis, statistics, quantitative finance, and risk management has found direct, practical applications in the business world.
