
On 28 and 29 October CFA Society Poland organised two community events in Vilnius and Riga respectively. Our goal was to integrate finance professionals in the Baltic states.
CFA Society Poland, by visitng Lithuania and Latvia, strengthens the community of finance professionals in the region. Polish representatives of CFA Society Poland (Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga, dr. Piotr Sieradzan, CFA, Monika Grabek, Executive Director CFA Society Poland, Jakub Jański, Communication and Administration Coordinator) spent two days holding important meetings, talks and presentations. They met both CFA Institute members, as well as candidates and young people who are considering getting this important designation.
CFA Society Poland representatives attended university meetings which attracted nearly 200 students majoring in finance and economics, as well as talked to employers in the region.
CFA Society Poland wants to thank the following universities for helping organise the meetups:
- School of Economics and Business, part of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU);
- ISM University of Management and Economics;
- Vilnius University;
- Riga Technical University;
- RISEBA University of Business, Arts and Technology in Riga;
- BA School of Business and Finance.
Evenings in Riga and Vilnius were dedicated to networking for CFA professionals, as well as learning about the important trends and developments in financial analysis, which were presented by Refinitiv, our main partner for CFA Community Networking. The events attracted nearly 100 participants altogether, who were representatives of financial organisations in Lithuania and Latvia.
CFA Society Poland wants to thank all professionals for their involvment and is looking forward to integrating the community even further in the future!
